As well as being a historic canal village, Metamora Indiana is also known as the home of fudge and sweet shops. At Mr Fudge's Confectionery on Main Street visitors can watch as fudge and brittles are poured out on a marble slab and worked into delicious treats. Donna Monroe grew up learning the tricks of the trade, you can watch a video of her in action on Youtube just like the old time drug store sodas. Mr Fudge's is open Tues-Sun from 10 to 5, and most holidays. Their phone number is 765-647-4956.
