BENEFITS OF E.R.T.M.C.*MEMBERSHIP

1.The group meets only six times a year Meetings provide an opportunity to learn about a new attraction, hotel or area in the 25 county region.
2. The East Region Tourism Marketing Cooperative consists of 25 counties Having members in 25 counties provides an opportunity to network and create personal contacts.
3. Participation in Marketing Efforts Many of these are “pay to play” and costs are greatly reduced due to the number of participants. One of our projects is the continuing development of our East Region Web Site –www.visiteasternindiana.org
Distribution of our brochure: “Discover the Right Side of Indiana” Check out our new pop-up display!
4. Brochure Distribution Each member has the opportunity to bring brochures for those in attendance to take back to their hotel, attraction or community. This provides a less expensive method of distributing your brochures to the 25 county region as opposed to direct mail.
5. THIS GROUP HAS A GOOD REPUTATION OF SUCCESSFULLY WORKING TOGETHER Many projects include smaller communities that do not have an organized visitor’s bureau.
6. East Regional Marketing Manager Kelleen Larkey, East Region Marketing Manager, works for Office of Tourism Development. Kelleen keeps the membership informed on other opportunities available through Tourism Development. Kelleen sells advertising for the Indiana Travel Guide, Festival Guide, Outdoor Recreation Guide, and www.visitindiana.com
